Welcome...educators, teachers, parents, community group leaders...welcome to you all!

Behind this page lies a wealth of resources to support learning with children and young people.

I have been asking myself many questions about home and homeland…What is Homeland? What does it mean to people? Where does it start? Where does it end?

I have used music to share my thoughts, and those of other musicians and poets, and created a beautiful album, called Homeland: Chapter 1.

For me, it matters that children, young people and indeed all of us, have opportunities to open up our minds, experience new things, be curious and reflect.

Here, you will find free resources to help us all explore our ideas of home and homeland.

The resources feature my music, photographs and videos, from Senegal and beyond and are organised by theme: Music, Place, Poetry and Story

If you are a teacher, then these resources support learning in music, geography, media studies, PSHE and English for learners aged 7-14 and beyond.
